I have many pictures to share from this summer so I will post a picture (or a slide show) every day for the next 30 days. I will not have acces to the internet tomorrow, but I have scheduled a post for tomorrow - that does not always work, so if it doesn't I will have two posts Sunday.
Nick is 11 years old today!
We took treats to school, we're going out to lunch and I'm making his favorite dinner... he said he wants something with shrimp, crab, or lobster.

Here is a picture I took of Marialee while we were in Puerto Rico for a conference, she is as much of a travel junkie as I am.
Mom: Nick, if you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you take with you?
Nick: Bob, I would definitely take Bob. Then I'd take daddy, because he is strong and has that knife with all of the tools on it. Then, I'd take Tim .... (pause) No, ... I better take you.
Mom: Why would you take me?
Nick: Because you love me a lot ... AND you can cook.
